Purpose of the mika:move App

The mika:move app streamlines participation in mika:move running events through a fully digital and user-friendly workflow. Users can complete account registration in just a few steps and subsequently select an event from the available list.

Event enrollment, including distance selection, is completed with a single interaction.

Integrated payment processing supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, ensuring a secure and efficient transaction process.

On site, participants are able to self-assign a preconfigured race number by scanning a QR code, eliminating the need for manual check-in.

How and when data is collected

Only personal data explicitly provided by the user is collected, including email address, first name, last name, date of birth, and gender. No automated data collection or passive data tracking mechanisms are implemented.

"third parties" may be interested in your position within the race. For this purpose, result data will be transmitted to the display function of the app or the result service on the internet via API.

Users of the mika Apps are entitled to know at any time whether their personal data has been saved and may contact the responsible body to find out about the content and origin of the recorded data, check its correctness, request its completion, deletion, updating, correction or transformation into an anonymous format or the blocking of data stored unlawfully, as well as to oppose its processing for legitimate reasons. Requests should be sent to the responsible body using the contact details given above.

This application does not support "do not track" requests by web browsers.
Please refer to the respective  privacy policy to find out whether a third party provider follows the do not track protocol.

Payment services

We integrate third-party payment services into our app. If, for example, you pay registration fees via the app, your payment details (e.g., name, payment amount, account details, credit card number) will be processed by the payment service provider for the purpose of payment processing.
